2Baba Seen Shopping with Natasha Amid Family Concerns
Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has been spotted shopping with Natasha Osawaru, the Deputy Majority Leader of the Edo State House of Assembly, sparking fresh speculation about their relationship.
This sighting comes amid reports that 2Baba’s family had raised concerns over his whereabouts and alleged involvement with the lawmaker. His mother, Rose Idibia, even made a public plea, urging Natasha to distance herself from him, especially as his divorce from Annie Idibia has not yet been finalized.
In a viral video, 2Baba and Natasha were seen casually browsing hair products, just days after reports surfaced that his family had filed a petition with the Department of State Services (DSS), claiming he had gone missing. His mother further alleged that he might not be acting in his right senses, calling on Natasha to remove the “beads you put on his hand and on his neck.”
The controversy deepened after another video emerged last Thursday showing 2Baba presenting a ring to Natasha and sharing a long embrace with her, fueling speculation about a possible engagement.
Natasha Osawaru, the granddaughter of billionaire Gabriel Igbinedion, is a politician representing the Egor Constituency under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). She was elected to the Edo State House of Assembly in April 2023.
