Drinking hot water has several effects on the body and among these effects would solution to some medical problems arise. Here are some medical conditions that can improve by sipping or taking hot water.

Constipation

This condition is characterized by hardening of the intestines by strong fecal matters. It could be caused be a couple things including dehydration. Taking hot water will help soften this hard fecal matter by having them penetrated. The fact that the temperature of the water is high would make the process much easier than when done with cold water.

Menstrual cramps

This condition usually follows menstruation in females. Taking hot water will cause a dilation in the blood vessels and this shall make the blood flow more easily. Cramps are more imminent when blood flows with resistance but easy flow of blood reduces the chances of cramps. When you take cold things while experiencing menstrual cramps, the pains are more likely going to get worse because, instead of the vessels to be dilated, they are constricted so as to conserve heat. This constriction would increase pressure in the blood flow and this shall result to pains and increased menstrual cramps.

Bloating

Bloating that occurred as a result of indigestion can be curbed by taking hot water. This is because hot water would hasten the digestive process by enhancing the GIT motility this process can reverse whatever condition it was that resulted to bloating in the first place.
