Actor Ayoola Opens Up About Suicide Attempt Due to Unplanned Fatherhood
Nollywood actor and singer, Ayoola Ayoola, has bravely shared his experience of attempting suicide. The renowned actor from ‘The Men’s Club’ revealed that he battled depression and contemplated ending his life when faced with the unexpected news of impending fatherhood.
Ayoola expressed that he was not mentally prepared to become a father at the time, leading to overwhelming feelings of despair. Recounting the darkest moments of his life, he admitted to deliberately putting himself in harm’s way, hoping to end his suffering.

“The time the pregnancy for my son came, I wasn’t prepared to be a father. I got depressed and almost took my life. I deliberately miscalculated while crossing the road so that I would be hit and the car just brushed me,” Ayoola revealed.
