Recall that diaspora Nigerians contribute foreign exchange in excess of $22 billion to the economy annually.
The show of support, in the form of rally and campaigns on New York streets, organized by United Nigeria Group, started since the ongoing United Nations General Assembly, UNGA, got off the ground a few days ago.
Several demonstrators chanting slogans in favour of the continued existence of Nigeria as an indivisible entity have been greeting passers-by with banners proclaiming “One Nigeria, One Destiny”, “We Want Unity, not Secession”, among others.
