Cadbury Nigeria recognized as top employer

Cadbury Nigeria Plc has been recognized as a top employer in Nigeria by the Amsterdam-based Top Employers Institute.

The Top Employers Institute’s programme certifies organisations based on the participation and results of their human resources best practices survey.

Cadbury Nigeria excelled in the survey that covers six domains, namely; People Strategy, Work Environment, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Well-being , and Diversity and Inclusion.

Speaking on the certification in the statement, Cadbury Nigeria’s Managing Director, Oyeyimika Adeboye, said, “We put our people first in all our decisions as they are our most valuable assets. Together, we work to delight our consumers with the right snacks made the right way. This is in line with our mission statement which drives us as an organisation.

Huma Resources Director, Cadbury Nigeria, Wole Odubayo, added, “The certification is equally important internally because this is how we send a message to our employees and key stakeholders about the impact of all the varied initiatives and investments we have implemented to ensure that we are working in good conditions, engaging our employees and improving our ways of working, which further adds value to the business”.

The Company’s Corporate Communications and Government Affairs Manager for West Africa, Frederick Mordi, who issued the statement said the certification is in addition to the ‘Employer of Choice’ (under 1000 employees), and ‘Outstanding Recruitment Strategy’ awards from the HR People’s Magazine, which Cadbury Nigeria won in 2019 and 2020.
