Paul Onuachu Scores As Genk Qualifies For Belgian Cup Final

Paul Onuachu was on target as Genk booked a place in the final of the Belgian Cup following a 2-1 win against Anderlecht at the Lotto Park, Brussel, on Sunday night, reports Completesports.com.

The forward opened scoring for his side in the 17th minute.

It was the Nigeria international’s second goal in the competition for Genk this season.

The 26-year-old has now scored 27 goals and provided two assists in 30 appearances across all competitions for his club this season.

Matt Miaga conceded an own goal a minute before the hour mark to firmly put Genk in control of the game.

Adrien Trebel reduced the deficit for Anderlecht in the 73rd minute.

Onuachu was replaced by his international teammate Cyriel Dessers nine minutes from time.

John van den Brom’s side will face Standard Liege in the final.
