This news comes in as Raheem Sterling has complained bitterly of not being given enough playing time despite his great form in the English National team.
Barcelona’s technical department are formulating a shortlist of players who could rejuvenate a stagnant forward line that is in desperate need of star quality. It has been indicated that Sterling is one of their targets.
Sterling is currently in a difficult situation in Manchester, having lost his place in Pep Guardiola’s starting XI. Sterling’s contract with Manchester City does end in June 2023, but he hopes to depart before then.
