Cristiano Ronaldo Reacts To Michael Carrick’s Resignation

Manchester United star, Cristiano Ronaldo, has reacted to Michael Carrick’s resignation as first-team coach.

Carrick resigned after helping Manchester United beat Arsenal 3-2 in the Premier League at Old Trafford on Thursday.

The game marked the conclusion of Carrick’s spell as Man United caretaker manager following the appointment of Ralf Rangnick as the club’s new interim manager.

Reacting to Carrick’s resignation, Ronaldo, in a post via his Twitter handle on Friday, said the former England international has what it takes to become a great coach.

Ronaldo tweeted, “Michael Carrick was a class act as a player and he can become a great coach as well.

“Nothing is impossible for this guy. Personally, I’m proud to have played with him by my side as well as with him as a manager on our bench.”
