Guinea’s Leader Insists Money Given to the Team Is Returned After AFCON Ouster
Col Mamady Doumbouya has forgiven the Guinean National team. He said his previous order was just to encourage them. He knows the team needs time to rebuild.
Only thing is that he wants the money that was given to the team for the quarterfinal, semifinal and final games be returned to the state coffers.
Guinea failed to reach the quarterfinals after losing to Gambia.
