Daniels breaks silence, says she warned Jaruma against husband
Nigerian actress, Regina Daniels has revealed that she cautioned aphrodisiac seller, Hauwa Muhammad, aka Jaruma against involving her husband in their business discussions.
Daniels broke her silence amid clamour for Jaruma’s release after she was remanded over a post she made about her and her husband, Ned Nwoko.
Jaruma was said to have paid Daniels for a sponsored advert and called her out in the post, claiming the advert didn’t do well.
The aphrodisiac seller also alleged that Daniels’ use of her product led to the collapse of Ned Nwoko’s marriage with his ex-wife Laila.
Daniels, however denied the allegation, claiming Jaruma only paid her to make random posts about her brand and that she never used any of her products.
Reacting, Ned Nwoko, in a petition to the Federal Capital Territory Police Command, accused Jaruma of publishing falsehoods against him and Daniels.
Following the petition, Jaruma was arrested and arraigned before an Abuja Upper Area Court, where the defendant’s lawyer applied for her bail.
However, the presiding Judge, Justice Ismaila Abdullahi reportedly ordered that Jaruma be remanded in Suleja Correctional Centre, pending the bail hearing on Friday, January 28 and adjourned the case to February 23, 2022, for trial.
