Aubameyang Nets Hat-Trick in His 3rd Match for Barcelona

After leaving Arsenal in the January transfer window, Aubameyang made an instant impact for his new club on his first LaLiga start, netting two first-half goals against Valencia.

He completed his hat-trick in the second-half, but didn’t know much about it as Pedri’s stunning long-range strike was given to Aubameyang as he went in off the striker’s back.

It’s a brilliant start for Barcelona’s new No.25, who has almost matched his Arsenal goalscoring tally for the season after just three matches in Spain.

In 14 Premier League appearances before his Emirates Stadium departure, the former Gunners no.14 only scored four goals.

Now, in two substitute appearances in LaLiga and now a first start, the Gabon captain only needs to find the net once more to equalling that tally.

With the game scoreless at the time, Aubameyang proved to be the man to break the deadlock after racing onto a superb long-range pass from left-back Jordi Alba.
