King Charles III Diagnosed with Cancer, Buckingham Palace Confirms

Buckingham Palace has officially announced that King Charles III has been diagnosed with a form of cancer following a recent medical procedure.

The diagnosis was disclosed by the palace on its website, revealing that the King’s health issue was identified during a hospital visit for a corrective procedure related to an enlarged prostate last month.

In a statement released by Buckingham Palace, it was stated, “Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer.”

Although the palace did not provide specific details about the type and stage of the cancer, it was noted that both King Charles and Catherine, Princess of Wales, were discharged from a private London clinic last week after their respective medical procedures.

While the King underwent a procedure for an enlarged prostate, Princess Catherine, aged 42, underwent surgery on January 17 to address an abdominal issue.

The statement further revealed that King Charles has commenced a regimen of regular treatments, leading doctors to advise him to postpone public-facing duties. However, he will continue to fulfill state obligations and official paperwork during this period.
