Ooni of Ife Advocates Security Collaboration Amid Rising Insecurity in Nigeria

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has issued a clarion call for enhanced collaboration among security agencies to address the escalating insecurity across Nigeria. Speaking during a meeting with Dr. Akintayo Adaralewa, the newly appointed Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), at his palace in Ile-Ife, Oba Ogunwusi stressed the critical importance of synergy among security operatives in combating the country’s security challenges.

Highlighting the imperative of collective action, Oba Ogunwusi emphasized that stronger collaboration among security agencies was vital for effectively tackling insecurity. Acknowledging the relatively peaceful environment in Osun State, the traditional ruler pledged unwavering support to security agencies in maintaining and enhancing the state’s security.
