Natalie Portman Divorces Husband Benjamin Millepied After 11 Years of Marriage

Actress Natalie Portman has officially ended her 11-year marriage to Benjamin Millepied, according to reports from People Magazine. The divorce proceedings were finalized in France, where the couple resided, following Portman’s filing eight months ago.

The couple, who share two children, decided to part ways amid allegations of infidelity against Millepied, a director and choreographer. While they chose not to publicly address the rumors, Portman, 42, recently spoke out against speculation about her marriage, calling it “terrible” in an interview with Vanity Fair.

Portman and Millepied first met during the production of the 2010 film “Black Swan,” where Millepied served as choreographer and taught Portman intricate ballet sequences. Their relationship blossomed, and in December 2010, they announced their engagement and Portman’s pregnancy with their first child, Aleph, who was born in June 2011. The couple tied the knot the following summer in California.

Their family grew with the arrival of their daughter, Amalia, in February 2017. Throughout their marriage, both Portman and Millepied pursued successful careers in the entertainment industry, with Portman winning an Oscar for her performance in “Black Swan.”
