Katie Price Declared Bankrupt for the Second Time Over £750,000 Unpaid Tax Bill

Former glamour model Katie Price has faced bankruptcy for the second time, as she grapples with an outstanding tax bill surpassing £750,000. The court declared her bankrupt after she failed to respond to HM Revenue and Customs regarding the debt. Judge Sebastian Prentis, presiding over the hearing at London’s Rolls Building, highlighted the substantial debt owed by Price to HMRC, which includes income tax, VAT, surcharges, and interest. Despite the severity of the situation, Price did not attend the hearing, which followed her recent fine of £880 for driving without a license or insurance.

In addition to her financial challenges, Price was previously ordered to allocate 40% of her OnlyFans income to trustees for three years due to other unpaid debts. Despite these legal matters, Price has expressed her frustration with the situation, stating that she would not be bothered if she were jailed. She has discussed her financial struggles and mental health issues on various platforms, emphasizing that bankruptcy should not be a source of shame.
