Portable Claps Back at Vector Over Song Lyric Reference

The name Zazu refers to a character from Disney’s 1994 animated film The Lion King, known as an uptight, red-billed hornbill serving King Mufasa.

Reacting to the lyric, Portable took to social media to express his displeasure, asserting his dominance over Vector. The ‘Zazu’ singer emphasized that he is more influential than Vector, claiming that as a rapper, Vector relies on singers like himself for success.

Portable further dismissed any notion of Vector being a pacesetter in the music industry, attributing his own success solely to divine intervention. In a recent Instagram live session, he stated, “God is my own pioneer. So nobody should claim he paved the way for me. Vector the Viper, that song you subbed me in—don’t you know I am a king? I control the country and the streets. Can you control what I control?”

Portable continued, “You dey wine? You blow reach me? Are you not a rapper? Isn’t it we singers that give you the chorus of your song? Instead of you to reach out to me for a feature, you are mimicking me. You blow reach me?”

This feud adds another layer to the ongoing drama in the Nigerian music scene, with fans eagerly watching the developments between these two artists.
