BBNaija’s Doyin Questions Efficacy of ‘Hallelujah Challenge’ and ‘What God Cannot Do Does Not Exist’

In her candid posts, the reality TV personality challenges the prevailing belief among Nigerians that fervent prayer alone can solve the country’s myriad problems. Instead, Doyin asserts the importance of action and personal development over religious rituals.

She argues, “Nigerians should be one of the greatest countries by now if it were really by ‘hallelujah challenge’ and ‘what God cannot do.’ We spend too much time praying and shouting hallelujah instead of actually working and being actual good human beings.”

Doyin emphasizes the need for self-improvement and the provision of tangible value in society. She critiques the tendency of individuals to engage in religious fervor without translating it into meaningful actions and behaviors.

Reflecting on the disconnect between religious practices and ethical conduct, Doyin remarks, “They will shout hallelujah finish and go back to cheating the next person they encounter or judging someone because the person presents themselves differently.”

Ultimately, she advocates for a balanced approach, asserting that while spiritual devotion is important, it must be complemented by genuine efforts to improve oneself and positively impact others.

Doyin concludes, “If you like, shout hallelujah from now till next year. If you don’t find ways to improve yourself and provide value….you’ll keep shouting hallelujah in hunger.”
