Meghan Markle Issues Stark Warning to Royal Family Following Balmoral Snub

In a recent interview on CBS News, Meghan Markle appears to have sent a pointed message to the royal family, hinting at future revelations about her time within the British monarchy. The Duchess of Sussex, alongside her husband Prince Harry, discussed issues related to cyberbullying and mental health, echoing themes from her previous high-profile interview with Oprah Winfrey.

During the interview with host Jane Pauley, Meghan reflected on her past comments about battling suicidal thoughts, first shared during her 2021 Oprah interview. Meghan expressed that she had only begun to scratch the surface of discussing her mental health struggles. According to royal expert and historian Dr. Tessa Dunlop, Meghan’s latest remarks could suggest that more revelations about her experiences are on the horizon.

Dr. Dunlop noted, “She talked of the need to be ‘really open about it’ before Meghan admitted she ‘hadn’t really scraped the surface’ of her own pain.” This statement highlights the depth of Meghan’s past struggles and suggests that her previous disclosures might not have fully addressed the extent of her difficulties while living as a British royal.

Tessa Dunlop further speculated that Meghan’s comments could be a precursor to future projects where she might delve deeper into her mental health journey. “Breakdown what Meghan said and her healing journey (one she believes is so important), remains incomplete,” Dr. Dunlop added. She implied that Meghan’s session with Oprah may not have been sufficient in fully exploring the challenges she faced.

This interview comes in the wake of a recent snub by King Charles, who did not extend an invitation to Meghan and Harry for the Balmoral celebration. This exclusion has further fueled speculation about ongoing tensions between the Sussexes and the royal family.
