Nollywood actor Aremu Afolayan has humorously expressed regret over not engaging in internet fraud, known as Yahoo Yahoo, in light of Nigeria’s current economic challenges. His comment comes amid a significant fuel price increase, which has sparked widespread frustration among Nigerians.

In a recent Instagram post, Afolayan reflected on the rising cost of fuel, which has jumped from N617 to N897 per litre. He shared his thoughts on how the economic situation has made legitimate hustling seem futile compared to fraudulent schemes. He said:

“All the days wey dem dey talk about Yahoo Yahoo, na today I regret pass sey I no do am. Legitimate hustling never felt super useless.”
