Lady Gaga Opens Up About Her Engagement and Past Fears of Loneliness

American singer Lady Gaga, known for her powerful music and dynamic persona, has shared her thoughts about her personal life and recent engagement. The 38-year-old singer, who recently announced her engagement to Michael Polansky, revealed that she once feared she would remain single forever due to her fame.

In an interview with Vogue, Lady Gaga expressed her relief at not being alone anymore. She admitted that she was scared about the prospect of having to navigate her life by herself, given the magnitude of her celebrity. “I kind of thought I was going to have to do this all by myself—forever. And that was really scary. Because it’s a big life. And I don’t think anyone really knows what it feels like unless you’re in it. And I don’t have to do this alone anymore,” Gaga said.

Gaga praised her fiancé, Michael Polansky, for being a “totally supportive, loving human being” who appreciates her for who she is beyond her celebrity status. She shared that her career focus since her teenage years had been intense, but now she is grateful for the opportunity to fully concentrate on her relationship with Polansky. “I met this totally supportive, loving human being who wanted to get to know me—outside of Lady Gaga,” she noted.
