Veekee James Stands Firm Amid Criticism, Continues Displaying Affection with Husband

Fashion designer Ruth James, popularly known as Veekee James, has remained in the spotlight following her marriage to Femi Atere in February 2024. Since tying the knot, the couple has shared numerous details of their personal lives on social media, sparking both admiration and criticism.

Veekee frequently posts videos of herself cooking for her husband, going on trips, and engaging in public displays of affection. Despite negative feedback from some quarters, she and her husband recently launched a YouTube channel in August, which has already garnered over 34,000 subscribers. This move has further amplified their online presence, with fans eager to keep up with their day-to-day activities.

However, not everyone approves of their public life. Some social media critics, including controversial personalities Blessing CEO and Uche Maduagwu, have advised Veekee to maintain a more private marriage. Maduagwu even went as far as predicting that their marriage wouldn’t last more than two years if they continued sharing intimate details online. He suggested Veekee should establish a business for her husband rather than have him accompany her everywhere.

Despite the criticism, Veekee remains undeterred, continuing to share her love life and proudly documenting her journey with Atere.
