DeeOne Criticizes Davido, Says His Controversial Actions Make It Hard to Support Him

Former Big Brother Naija star and comedian DeeOne has expressed frustration with Nigerian singer Davido, accusing him of making it difficult for fans to continue supporting him due to his controversial actions. DeeOne’s comments came after Davido’s recent encounter with fellow music star Wizkid at a London nightclub.

DeeOne took issue with Davido showing up at the same club as Wizkid despite their ongoing feud. In a video shared on his Instagram page, the skit maker expressed disappointment in Davido’s behavior, stating that he expected the singer’s marriage to Chioma to bring about maturity, but that hasn’t been the case.

DeeOne explained that although many fans, including himself, had faulted Wizkid for mocking Davido online in the past, Davido’s recent actions made it harder to continue defending him. He also criticized Davido’s crew for recording Wizkid during their encounter, pointing out that Wizkid didn’t even notice them.

“Davido, you make it very difficult for someone to support you,” DeeOne said. “I was among those who blamed Wizkid for touting you online, but now you’re entering the same club as him in London. Why can’t you ignore him if not that you’re a fan? I thought marriage would change you, but that is not the reality.”
