Speed Darlington Threatens Burna Boy Over Allegations

Nigerian rapper Speed Darlington seems unbothered by his recent troubles, as he has issued a new threat against Grammy-winning singer Burna Boy. This follows a series of events that began when Burna Boy filed a petition against Speed Darlington for alleged cyberstalking, leading to the rapper’s detention by the Inspector General of Police’s Intelligence Response Team (IRT) in Abuja.

Speed Darlington’s mother claimed that Burna Boy and his team were responsible for her son’s arrest, appealing to the Grammy singer for his release. After spending three days in detention, Speed Darlington was eventually released on bail, meeting the police’s conditions.

Instead of easing off, Speed Darlington took to Instagram Live to vow retaliation against Burna Boy. He proclaimed that the Grammy-winning artist would eventually ask for his account number to send him N12 million as an apology for the trouble he has caused.

Reactions to Speed Darlington’s statements have been mixed, with some users expressing disbelief and skepticism regarding his threats. One commenter wrote, “Who the gods want to kill, they first make mad,” while another suggested that he should consider the consequences of his actions.

The controversy has been fueled further by Speed Darlington’s previous remarks questioning Burna Boy’s connection with American rapper P.Diddy. He pointed out how he had taken a photo with P.Diddy years ago and questioned Burna Boy about the surge in his fame following his own encounter with the rapper.

As the situation unfolds, it remains to be seen how Burna Boy will respond to these provocations, and whether Speed Darlington will face further repercussions for his comments.
