Actor Uche Maduagwu Slams Women Supporting 2Baba’s Treatment of Annie Idibia
Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu has strongly criticized music star 2Baba for proposing to another woman while still dealing with his marital crisis with estranged wife, Annie Idibia. Maduagwu did not hold back, calling out women who support the singer’s actions, saying they must be “witches.”
In a fiery statement, Uche condemned 2Baba for what he described as public humiliation of Annie, arguing that no responsible man would propose to another woman while his wife is allegedly unwell and going through emotional distress.
“Any woman supporting what 2Baba is doing to Annie is a witch. A good married man will never propose marriage to another lady in public while his wife is allegedly not feeling well and is going through a lot. Common sense is not common,” Uche fumed.
This backlash comes after 2Baba announced his split from Annie and later confirmed his relationship with Edo State politician and lawyer, Natasha Osawaru. Describing her as “intelligent and adorable,” he publicly proposed to her, sparking widespread criticism.
The proposal has fueled heated debates online, with many Nigerians condemning 2Baba’s actions. Fans have expressed disappointment, accusing him of being insensitive toward Annie, who has stood by him for years despite past challenges in their marriage.
Annie and 2Baba, who have been married for over a decade, have had a rocky relationship filled with controversies, including allegations of infidelity. While the singer has yet to respond to the backlash, his recent actions have left many questioning his commitment to his marriage.
