“An absolute disaster” – Paul Scholes Slams Manchester Utd Defender
Paul Scholes has slammed Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick for continuing to select Harry Maguire in his starting XI.
Despite coming under pressure for his performances this season, the £80m captain has been included in the United starting XI for the Champions League showdown with Atletico Madrid.
Speaking to BT Sport, former United playmaker turned pundit Scholes said: “The manager has shown faith in him to keep playing him considering the form he’s been in. For me, the worry is what does this say about [Victor] Lindelof?
“When he’s played, Lindelof has done okay. Nice and steady, not many mistakes. It seems everything Harry is doing has turned into an absolute disaster.”
