Ariana Grande Officially Divorces Dalton Gomez After Nearly Three Years of Marriage

After nearly three years of marriage, pop sensation Ariana Grande and real estate agent Dalton Gomez have finalized their divorce, following Grande’s filing six months ago citing irreconcilable differences.

The Grammy-winning singer, 30, and Gomez, 28, exchanged vows in a private and intimate ceremony in May 2021. However, their union came to an end with the official signing off of their divorce by a Los Angeles court on Tuesday.

As part of the settlement, Grande will make a one-time payment of $1.25 million to Gomez and will also split the proceeds from the sale of their Los Angeles home. Additionally, she will cover up to $25,000 in legal fees for her ex-husband.

The couple began dating in 2020 and spent much of the COVID lockdown together. Gomez even made a cameo appearance in the lockdown-themed music video for Grande’s collaboration with Justin Bieber, “Stuck With U.”

While Grande previously shared glimpses of their domestic life on social media, including cooking together, the couple had reportedly been separated for over a year.

Despite the personal challenges, Grande remains focused on her career. Her seventh studio album, “Eternal Sunshine,” was released on March 8th, marking her return to music after a three-year hiatus since “Positions” in 2020. The album quickly soared to the top of the UK charts, securing Grande her fifth number one album.

Fans can also anticipate Grande’s return to acting later this year, as she is set to portray the good witch Glinda in the two-part film adaptation of the stage musical “Wicked,” alongside Cynthia Erivo’s Elphaba. The first film of the two-part series is slated for release in November.
