Fatai Odunsi, the father of Nigerian singer Ahmed ‘Asake’ Ololade, has reassured the public that all issues between him and his son have been resolved. This follows reports suggesting that Asake abandoned him after he suffered a stroke in 2022.

In a recent video shared on content creator Akin ‘Mrlilgaga’ Abolade’s YouTube page, Odunsi expressed gratitude that Asake had reached out and promised to take care of him. He emphasized that he is proud of his son’s achievements and prayed for his continued success in the music industry. He also disclosed that Asake has made arrangements to buy him a house in Isale Eko, further proving his commitment to supporting him.

Addressing the controversy surrounding an alleged 11-year-old daughter named Zeenat, Odunsi clarified that his previous statements were misinterpreted. He confirmed that Asake has taken full responsibility for the child and has already made plans for her well-being, including providing medical care.

Asake himself had earlier spoken out about the situation, dismissing claims that he neglected his father. The singer maintained that he has always supported him and has remained loyal despite the negative narratives being spread. He urged people to focus on kindness and faith in God rather than seeking approval from others.
