Barcelona to Remain at Olympic Stadium as Camp Nou Renovation Continues

Barcelona will continue playing their home matches at the Olympic Stadium for the rest of the season as renovations at Camp Nou remain ongoing. The club had initially planned to return to their iconic stadium before the end of 2024 but has now pushed the reopening to next season.

Barcelona informed club members on Thursday that tickets for their remaining La Liga and Champions League matches would be available at the Olympic Stadium, where they have been playing since the 2023-24 season. When Camp Nou reopens, it will initially accommodate over 60,000 fans before expanding to a full capacity of 105,000 by the summer of 2026.

The renovation project, which began in June 2023, has faced multiple setbacks, including permit delays and concerns over working conditions. Despite these challenges, Barcelona remains committed to completing the expansion, which will enhance the club’s facilities and revenue potential.
