Bill, Melinda Gate part ways after 27-year marriage

One of the world richest men, Bill Gate and his wife Melinda, on Monday announced that they had made a decision to end their 27 year old marriage.

The couple made the announcement in a joint statement on their verified Twitter handle.

The post reads, “After a great deal of thought and a lot of work on our relationship, we have made a decision to end our marriage.

Over the last 27 years, we have raised three incredible children and built a foundation that works all over the world to enable all people to lead healthy, productive lives.

“We continue to share a believe in that mission and will continue our work together at the foundation but we no longer believe we can grow together as a couple in the next phase of our lives”.

Bill, 65 and Melinda, 56, met at Microsoft which Bill Gates founded.
