He shared this opinion after a tweet from Asake, dating back to 2019, resurfaced. In the tweet, a younger Asake, who was still an up-and-coming artist at the time, had asked Blaqbonez to follow him back on social media.
The tweet caught a user’s attention on X (formerly Twitter) with the handle @thejacobsss, who suggested it was funny to rank Asake higher than Blaqbonez in terms of popularity. The fan wrote, “Asake is big, but saying he’s bigger than Blaqbonez is pure comedy walai.” Blaqbonez agreed with the fan’s point and responded, saying, “Like people are funny. I’m 50x bigger. I sold out the O2 Arena in 1 minute; it took him longer.”
However, Blaqbonez’s claim about selling out the O2 Arena in just one minute seems to be an exaggeration. In reality, Blaqbonez has not yet sold out the iconic O2 Arena in London, while Asake has already achieved this feat twice.
