Borno Arms Hunters To Battle Boko Haram

The Borno State Government has equipped local hunters and vigilante groups to take on Boko Haram in the state. The government on Tuesday donated eight Toyota Hilux vehicles to local hunters and vigilante group in the Hawul Local Government Area, where insurgents looted four communities on Boxing Day. The governor, who was represented by the deputy governor, presented the patrol vehicles and other accessories to the leaders of the vigilante groups in Azare town, in the Hawul Local Government Area. The governor appealed to the people in the area to cooperate with one another and assist the security personnel with useful information.
