Burna Boy’s Controversial Remarks on Davido: Social Media Erupts in Response

In the latest twist of Nigerian music industry drama, Grammy-winning sensation Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has sparked controversy with what appears to be a subtle dig at his fellow artist Davido, referring to him as a “joke.”

The incident unfolded when a Davido fan took to social media to taunt Burna Boy over his recent loss of four Grammy awards. The fan, sporting Davido’s image as their profile picture, derisively commented, “Ode, bottled four Grammys.” Burna Boy wasted no time in firing back, quipping, “The actual joke is in your display pic.”

However, Burna Boy’s response didn’t end there. After the fan changed their profile picture from Davido to Burna Boy, the latter decided to delete his comment. When questioned about this move by another fan, Burna Boy clarified that he did so because the troll had altered their display picture.

But the story didn’t stop there. In a subsequent exchange, a fan questioned Burna Boy’s decision to delete the comment. Burna Boy defended himself by highlighting the change in the profile picture, sarcastically asking, “Didn’t you notice the switch to my picture? Who’s the joke now?”

The incident underscores the ongoing tensions and rivalries within the Nigerian music scene, igniting discussions and debates among fans and observers alike.
