CHDRecords Unveils Mihkahil as First Signed Artist
CHDRecords has officially introduced Mihkahil, a rising Nigerian singer, songwriter, and performer, as the label’s first artist. Born Babalola Mikahil Owolabi in Lagos, Mihkahil embarked on his musical journey at the age of 12. He made his debut in the music industry with the release of his first single, “Play,” on April 24, 2020, coinciding with his 21st birthday.
Since his debut, Mihkahil has worked with some of Nigeria’s top music producers, including Reinhard Tega, Runcheck, Geek Beat, Brownflicks, and Kingzy Beat. His unique sound, shaped by his experiences growing up in Lagos, features lyrics that explore themes of love, life, and the complexities of human emotions.
