Chelsea to Sign Croatian Winger Ivan Perisic for next Season
Chelsea have reached an agreement to sign Inter Milan’s Croatian wing-back Ivan Perisic for a free transfer at the end of the season, according to reports. 33-year-old Perisic is out of contract at the end of the season and is set to depart to the Premier leafue.
Inter have so far only been willing to offer him a contract with a salary of €4.5 million for the next two years as he demands a larger wage packet of €6 million.
It is probable that Chelsea have offered a wage higher than Inter in order to persuade him into a move.
“Perisic has already reached an agreement with Chelsea: the medical examinations and the last formalities to ratify the agreement are missing, but if the Croatian does not go to Chelsea we could be seeing a sensational twist.” Italian journalist Sandro Sabatini reported
