Christina Hendricks Marries Partner George Bianchini in Lavish New Orleans Ceremony

Good Girls actress Christina Hendricks has tied the knot with her partner of four years, George Bianchini, in a lavish celebration in New Orleans.

Joined by more than 70 guests, the happy couple exchanged vows at the iconic Napoleon House, marking the beginning of their journey together as husband and wife.

In an interview with PEOPLE, Hendricks shared her affection for New Orleans, stating, “New Orleans is a place that I always loved to go before I met George, and a place that he always loved to go before he met me.”

The ceremony, officiated by singer Shirley Manson, was attended by Christina’s co-stars Mae Whitman and Retta, along with Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner. Hendricks walked down the aisle adorned in a custom-made bridal gown from Katya Katya, creating a picturesque moment against the backdrop of the historic venue.

Guests indulged in a sumptuous feast featuring steak and shrimp, with the couple opting for Bananas Foster in lieu of a traditional wedding cake.

Reflecting on their decision to have a star-studded guestlist, Hendricks explained, “It seemed like the right amount for us to be able to embrace and visit with everyone and not feel overwhelmed. But it’s certainly not a tiny, intimate wedding. No, we wanted a celebration — a grand celebration.”

Christina and Bianchini, who “proposed to each other” last year, opted for sweet and simple gestures rather than elaborate proposals. Opening up about their approach, Hendricks shared, “We both said, ‘Please don’t shoot something out of a rocket. Don’t get an airplane involved.'”

The wedding marks a new chapter for Hendricks, who separated from ex-husband Geoffrey Arend in 2019. Despite their parting, she expressed gratitude for the love they shared and emphasized their commitment to raising their two beloved dogs together.

As Hendricks embarks on this journey with Bianchini, their wedding stands as a testament to their love and dedication to each other, surrounded by family, friends, and the enchanting charm of New Orleans.
