Covenant University Tops 2025 Nigerian University Rankings
Covenant University has been named the best university in Nigeria for 2025, according to the Times Higher Education (THE) World Universities Rankings. The institution, owned by Living Faith Church, secured a global ranking between 201-1000, making it the highest-ranked Nigerian university on the list.
Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) follows as the second-best university in Nigeria, ranking globally between 1001-1200. Landmark University, also affiliated with Living Faith Church, shares the 1001-1200 global position, earning third place nationally.
The University of Ibadan (UI) ranked fourth in Nigeria, maintaining its global position of 1001-1200 but dropping from its previous second-best ranking domestically. Similarly, the University of Lagos (UNILAG) placed fifth nationally, retaining its global position but moving down one spot in the local rankings.
