Dammy Krane Publicly Begs Davido for Forgiveness After Long-Standing Feud

Nigerian singer Dammy Krane has issued a public apology to his fellow musician, David Adeleke, also known as Davido, following a long-standing dispute between the two Afrobeats artists. The feud had been marked by multiple accusations from Dammy Krane, including claims of Davido’s involvement in the death of Tagbo and allegations that Davido owed him money.

The situation escalated recently when Dammy Krane was reportedly arrested on the orders of Davido, who had allegedly filed a defamation case against his former friend. Social media personality Verydarkman (VDM) shared news of Dammy Krane’s arrest, revealing that he had encountered the singer in police custody. During their conversation, Dammy Krane admitted that it was Davido who had him arrested, citing his continuous attacks on Davido and his family, often without evidence.

VDM also highlighted how Dammy Krane had publicly mocked Davido, accusing him of unpaid debts and even changing Davido’s nickname from “OBO” (Omo Baba Olowo) to “OB owe.” The social media influencer urged Davido to forgive Dammy Krane and release him from custody. Shortly after, on August 29, 2024, VDM announced that Davido had granted his request, and Dammy Krane was released within hours.
