Davido’s ‘Timeless’ makes history on US Apple Music
Davido’s ‘Timeless’ has become highest charting album by a Nigerian artiste in US Apple Music history.
According to Chart Data on Twitter handle, ‘Timeless’ peaked at number three spot which no other Nigerian album has ever attained.
“@davido’s ‘Timeless’ is now the highest charting album by a Nigerian artist in US Apple Music history (#3)”, read the tweet that accompanied a photo of Davido and his latest work.
The album, which was officially released on Friday, on all streaming platforms worldwide houses 17 tracks with features from both homegrown superstars and international acts like the very popular Grammy award-winning singer, Angelique Kidjo, and several others.
In a post by Africa Facts Zone, Davido’s ‘Timeless’ as of the time of this filing is trending at number one spots on Apple Music in twenty countries including Nigeria.
“Davido’s Timeless album is no. 1 in the UK, UAE, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Qatar, Oman, Benin, Cameroon, Cyprus, Cote d’Ivoire, The Gambia, Ghana, Ireland, Liberia, Malawi, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria and Uganda on Apple Music. It is no. 3 in USA and Canada on Apple Music”, reads the tweet.
