D’Banj Signs Nasboi and Berry Tiga as Ambassadors for CREAM Platform to Empower African Artists
Renowned Nigerian singer and entrepreneur, D’Banj, has officially signed Nasboi and Berry Tiga as brand ambassadors for his innovative music-tech enterprise, CREAM Platform. The initiative aims to support and empower independent artists across Africa by providing them with the resources they need to thrive in the entertainment industry.
Speaking at a press conference, D’Banj highlighted the significance of CREAM, which stands for Creative Reality Entertainment Art and Music. The platform is designed to offer aspiring artists a range of services, including talent management, music distribution, publishing, funding, and grants. By leveraging technology, it ensures accessibility for creatives, whether they are in urban centers or remote areas. Artists can showcase their talent via the platform’s website or through an MTN USSD code, making it easy to connect with the industry.
D’Banj emphasized that content creation is the “new crude oil” and stressed that CREAM is more than just a digital platform—it is a community and an ecosystem for discovering and nurturing talent. According to him, this is Africa’s first DIY platform built by Africans for Africans, designed to serve as a one-stop hub for talent development, digital distribution, and financial support.
Explaining the choice of Nasboi and Berry Tiga as brand ambassadors, D’Banj noted that both artists embody the essence of the platform. He commended Nasboi for proving that independent artists can achieve success without signing traditional record label deals. Similarly, Berry Tiga, who first uploaded his music on the CREAM Platform at 16, has since grown into one of its biggest success stories.
The appointment of these two rising stars further solidifies CREAM’s mission of discovering and uplifting raw talent. With this latest move, D’Banj continues to play a pivotal role in shaping Africa’s creative industry, ensuring that independent artists have access to the tools and opportunities they need to excel.
