Dennis Emmanuel Joins Nigerian Teammates at Watford

English Premier League Watford have announced the signing of Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Dennis Bonaventure.

The newly promoted side confirmed via statement on their official website that the 23-year-old is set to join them from Belgian side Club Brugge ahead of next season.

“An agreement with Club Brugges has been reached for the transfer of exciting young forward Emmanuel Dennis, Watford FC is delighted to confirm.” Watford said in a statement on Monday.

Dennis fell out with Club Brugge last season and was subsequently loaned to German Bundesliga Club FC Köln, where he scored once.

He signed for the Club Brugge from Ukrainian side Zorya summer of 2017 and went on to score 27 goals in just over 90 club appearances for Brugges.

Should the transfer goes as planned, and he will become fourth Nigerian at the club after William Troost-Ekong, has Isaac Success and Tom Dele-Bashiru.
