Ebuka Obi-Uchendu Reveals Truth About Ini Edo’s ‘Wedding’
During a recent Big Brother Naija eviction show, presenter Ebuka Obi-Uchendu revealed that the widely discussed “wedding” of Nollywood actress Ini Edo is, in fact, not real. The wedding is part of a new series titled My Fairy Tale Wedding, featuring the actress in the lead role.
Ebuka explained that many fans missed the part of Ini Edo’s post where she clarified that the wedding was a scene from the series. He added that the plot centers on a woman searching for true love and using Kayanmata, a traditional love charm, which leads to unexpected outcomes.
The series also stars other prominent actors, including Ramsey Nouah, Caroline Hutchings, Ayo Mogaji, Daniel Etim-Effiong, and Tina Mba. It will debut on Africa Magic Showcase on October 20, 2024.
Fans who were initially fooled by the “wedding” reacted humorously, with one user saying, “Ini Edo don whine the whole country,” while another remarked, “Nigerians don’t like to read.”
