Eight Nigerian Musicians Nominated For 2021 Music Of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards (See Full List)

Eight musicians from Nigeria have made the country proud following their nominations in the 2021 Music of Black Origin awards, popularly known as ‘the MOBOs’.

Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, Rema, Ayra Starr and Ckay made the nominations list for the year’s edition of the British music award presentation honouring achievements in ‘music of black origin’, including hip hop, grime, R&B, soul, reggae, jazz, gospel, and African music.

Aside the ‘Best African Act’ category which all the aforementioned artistes got nominated in, Wizkid and Rema also got another nod in the ‘Best International Act’ segment, battling Kanye West, Drake, Lil Nas X, Megan Thee Stallion, amongst others.
