Forever Thankful: Agbani Darego Marks 20 Years of Being Crowned Miss World, Shares Video From Historic Moment
Popular Nigerian beauty queen, Agbani Darego, is celebrating 20 years of being crowned the most beautiful girl in the world. Agbani emerged as the first African lady to win the 51st edition of the beauty pageant that was held in Sun City, South Africa on November 16, 2001.
Just like yesterday, it’s been 20 years since the historic event happened and Agbani is still all excited about the amazing moment.
She shared a video on her verified Instagram page and captioned it as: “20 years today! Forever thankful for the experience @missworld.”
BBNaija host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu celebrated Agbani over the historic achievement and asked Nigerians how old they were when she was crowned Miss World back in 2001.
Nigerians have celebrated with Agbani and some of them said they still feel the goose bumps even after 20 years.
