Heartwarming Jubilation as Ailing Actor Mr Ibu Returns Home

Celebrations erupted as the renowned Nollywood veteran, John Okafor, affectionately known as Mr. Ibu, joyfully returned home after spending several months in the hospital, marking a triumphant moment in his health journey.

Mr. Ibu, who had earlier appealed for financial assistance due to his life-threatening illness, expressed gratitude to those who rallied behind him during his challenging time. Calls for support on social media prompted generous donations, including a significant contribution from the Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Foundation, which disclosed that it covered the entirety of Mr. Ibu’s medical expenses.

In a heartbreaking revelation on November 6, Mr. Ibu’s family disclosed that he had undergone seven surgeries, including the amputation of his leg. Despite this, the resilient actor continued his recovery in the hospital.

Sharing the uplifting news, actor Ken Erics posted a video on his Instagram page, capturing his visit to the legendary actor, who is currently in the process of recuperation. Erics captioned the video, stating it was a gesture to brighten the day for fans and admirers of Mr. Ibu.
