Husband of Former ‘Selling Sunset’ Star Arrested for Alleged Assault with Deadly Weapon
The husband of former “Selling Sunset” star Christine Quinn, Christian Dumontet, 45, was arrested following an alleged assault with a deadly weapon on Tuesday. The incident involved Dumontet throwing a bag containing a glass bottle, which struck a child, according to police reports.
The arrest took place after reports of a domestic dispute around 2 p.m., with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollywood Division handling the case. Paramedics provided treatment to the child at the residence where the incident occurred.
Bail for Dumontet was set at $30,000, and as per inmate booking records, he has not been released yet. Representatives for Christine Quinn have not responded to requests for comment regarding the incident.
Dumontet and Quinn tied the knot in 2019, with their wedding ceremony featured on season three of Netflix’s reality series “Selling Sunset,” which showcases the lives of real estate agents at the Oppenheimer Group’s Los Angeles branch. Although Quinn was a prominent figure in the show’s early seasons, she departed after the fifth season.
The couple also shares a son, born in May 2021, a milestone that was documented during Quinn’s tenure on the reality series.
