“I Will Give Everything Thing” – Taiwo Awoniyi Speaks After Liverpool Sale

Taiwo Awoniyi is relieved to join the Bundesliga club Union Berlin on a permanent deal from Liverpool FC.

 

Awoniyi brought an end to his years’ ties with the English side Liverpool FC by agreeing to a deal with the German club.

 

 

 

The Dream Team VII player signed five years contract with Union Berlin with an option for an additional year.

 

 

 

The 23-year-old spent last season on loan at Union Berlin after spells with FSV Frankfurt, NEC Nijmegen, Royal Excel Mouscron (twice), KAA Gent ans FSV Mainz 05.

 

 

 

“After lots of loan moves in previous years, I want to finally come and have a home,” Awoniyi told the club’s official website.

 

 

 

“I owe so much to Union, so it makes me happy and proud to be back here. It’s fantastic to continue on the great path with the club. I’ll give everything to quickly pick up where I was before my injury.”

Awoniyi scored five goals and provided four assists in 22 appearances for Union Berlin last season.
