Israel DMW Claims Ex-Wife Returned Mere N1,000 of N2 Million Bride Price

Israel DMW, the Logistics Manager for Davido, has disclosed that his former wife, Sheila, returned a meager sum of N1,000 as a bride price refund, despite his assertion of spending over N2 million on their wedding ceremony.

Speaking out in response to Sheila’s statement regarding the return of the bride price, Israel DMW revealed during an Instagram live session with Daddy Freeze that his ex-wife transferred the paltry sum of N1,000 via bank transfer.

Expressing his dissatisfaction with the refund, Israel argued that the bride price should have been returned to his family, as he did not personally make the payment. He emphasized the importance of a proper return of the bride price, suggesting that only a Federal High Court possesses the authority to dissolve their marriage.

Israel DMW reiterated his stance on his Instagram story, urging his ex-wife to adhere to customary procedures in returning the bride price, emphasizing that it was his family who made the payment directly. He emphasized the legal aspect of their marriage, stating that only a Federal High Court holds the jurisdiction to dissolve their union after two years.
