“It was a case of Mistaken Identity” – British Government on Peter Obi’s detention

the British government has apologized to the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, over his illegal detention at Heathrow Airport in London.

The apology came following the admittance of immigration official to have wrongly handed him a detention note in a search of man who impersonated him to commit perjury, forgery and identity theft. British authorities said the uncomplimentary treatment he received was “completely unacceptable,” and thence issued a personal apology.

Obi was reportedly detained and interrogated for hours by immigration officials at Heathrow Airport in London on April 7, 2023.

The Obi-Datti Media office stated that Obi has been under all kinds of attack, since the February 25 presidential election, adding that it was not surprising that he was detained for hours in the UK.

It assured all persons of goodwill especially the Obidients that Obi is back in the country and not deterred as he is ready to suffer the pain and remain even more determined to pursue his ”stolen mandate”.
