IWD 2025: Real Warri Pikin Honored in Abia and India for Humanitarian Work

Nigerian comedian and actress Anita Asuoha, known as Real Warri Pikin, has been recognized for her outstanding contributions to mental health advocacy and women’s empowerment as part of the International Women’s Day (IWD) 2025 celebrations.

In Abia State, the Real Warri Pikin Foundation made history with its biggest-ever IWD giveaway, donating ₦5 million to support women-led businesses. The event, backed by the First Lady of Abia State, Mrs. Priscilla Otti’s Excellency, highlighted her dedication to uplifting women and families in Nigeria.

Her impact was also felt beyond Nigeria, as she was honored at the Indian High Commission with a Special Recognition Award from the Indian Women Entrepreneurs Association (IWEA). The award celebrated her achievements in entertainment and her continuous efforts in the mental health space.

Organizers commended her ability o bring joy through comedy while advocating for important social causes. With these recognitions, Real Warri Pikin continues to use her platform to promote mental health awareness, empower women, and drive meaningful change.
