James Brown Visits Bobrisky at Kirikiri Correctional Centre

Nigerian crossdresser James Obialor, popularly known as James Brown, visited his colleague Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre in Lagos. Bobrisky is currently serving a six-month prison term for the abuse of naira notes.

James Brown, accompanied by a few friends, shared details of the visit on his Instagram page on Friday. He wrote, “I went to Kirikiri prison to visit Bobrisky to know if she is alright.”

In April, the Nigerian Correctional Service confirmed, via its spokesperson Rotimi Oladokun, that Bobrisky was being held in a male custodial facility and adhering to all standard regulations, including the dress code.

The visit highlights the support within the community of Nigerian crossdressers, showing solidarity and concern for one another during difficult times. Bobrisky’s imprisonment has been a significant event, drawing attention to issues surrounding the treatment and rights of individuals in similar situations.
